MILE HIGH GREYHOUND PARK FACILITY ABATEMENT

Project Details

PROJECT LOCATION
Commerce City, Colorado

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Asbestos Abatement and Soil Remediation

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The former Mile High Greyhound Park facility site was contaminated with 45,000 cubic yards of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead paint/sealants, CFCs in the HVAC and cooler equipment, mercury in light bulbs and switches, radioactive materials in fire alarms and exit lights, and various solvents and cleaning agents. The Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority (URA) retained Hudspeth to complete asbestos abatement and compiled debris in the main structure, maintenance building, and paddock building as well as 45,000 cubic yards of soil remediation.

“I just cannot say enough about how positive the experience working with Hudspeth has been from start to finish. The abatement process had been an absolute nightmare until we found you. I am extremely grateful. You will most definitely be our go-to in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you!” --Jenny E., Downtown Development Group
